Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics required or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Background in Electronics typically obtained via a two-year Associate degree program.
• Equivalent combinations of relevant education and/or experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks in construction, operation and maintenance of standard electronic equipment and instruments.
• Repair circuits by replacing malfunctioning parts and soldering broken connections.
• Machine parts, fabricate chassis, install tubes and other parts per blueprints and diagrams.
• Inspect instruments, analyze causes and plan repairs; follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Operate test equipment to calibrate instruments and assist faculty, students and staff with troubleshooting.
