Job summary

TDXi, a division of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), seeks an Electronics Technician Maintenance I for the Eielson AFB, AK location. You will perform basic to routine electronics tasks under supervision, using meters, generators, testers, oscilloscopes, and related equipment.

Report to the Site Manager and contribute to mission-critical defense training systems. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a tech apprenticeship or 3+ years journeyman experience; an associate degree is a

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and successful completion of accredited Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics or equivalent military training, or minimum three (3) years’ experience at journeyman level.
• Associate Degree in Electronics and experience at the Craftsman level highly desirable.
• IAT II (A+ software/hardware and Security +) Certification required.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate basic and some advanced technical knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and devices, interpret circuit diagrams to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents, as well as demonstrate knowledge in the use of test instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltage and frequency meters, and computer control equipment and analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain DENRO components and gator radio systems.
• Monitor/configure systems and develop TED maps.
• Operate and maintain data lines (T1 & T3), microwave links, and fiber lines.
• Ensure required reports and documentation are available and maintained.
• Maintain current tower climb certification.
