Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician (Key Personnel) to support Joint Region Marianas security and communications systems in Guam. The role is on-site, full-time contract, with standard M-F hours and after-hours callbacks for critical outages.

The technician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test LMR and ESS, including intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance, and will program Motorola radios. On-site travel to Guam is required.

Qualifications

• Technical training in electronics, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in LMR and ESS installation and maintenance.
• Experience with Motorola trunked radio systems, Lenel, and Milestone.
• Experience using radio programming software, service monitors, and R56 grounding requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic security and communications equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test LMR and ESS systems.
• Support intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Motorola trunked radio systems.
• Program Motorola radios using radio codeplugs and tune radios with service monitors.
• Install radios in vehicles and perform battery conditioning.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, corrosion control, and backup power testing.
• Conduct monthly R56 grounding inspections at towers and repeater sites.
• Maintain radio/equipment inventory records.
• Support system installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and readiness.
