Job summary

V2X is seeking an Electronics Technician I (TESS Repair) at Fort Irwin, California to sustain and repair Ground Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) including CV TESS, TVS, and related vehicle platforms.

Under supervision, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on TADSS and GFP, document activities in InSITE, ensure warranty terms are respected, and test systems for interoperability and operation.

Qualifications

• No experience, or 1+ year of experience with no degree.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and repair Ground Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) with focus on CV TESS, TVS and other vehicle platforms. Surge to repair other Ground-TES devices as directed by the Field Operations Lead or Lead Technicians
• Under supervision of higher-level technicians, perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS and GFP, following technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices when no checklist is available
• Record all maintenance activities in real-time in InSITE
• Adhere to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location
• Set up and tests TADSS to confirm they work as expected, including interoperability and operation verification
• Monitor hardware baselines, reverting to previous versions if updates fail.
