Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. is hiring an Electronic Technician I at Belle Fourche EWS in Colony, WY to perform maintenance on Threat Emitter and radar systems across SD, MT, and WY.

The position requires basic electronics knowledge, schematics literacy, and testing with common equipment. Work is performed under supervision with PPE and safety guidelines, including lifting up to 100 lbs and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with MST-T1A/MUTES and JTE systems preferred, but not required.
• Able to read schematics and follow detailed technical procedures.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on Threat Emitter systems.
• Read and interpret schematics and follow technical instructions.
• Use test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, etc.) for measurements.
• Handle removal/replacement of system sub-assemblies and components.
• Operate systems via computer software controlling Threat Emitter equipment.
