Responsibilities

• Maintains the physical security of the institution through installation, maintenance and repairs of electronic systems including PBX telephone switch, trunked radio systems, fire alarm systems, perimeter detection systems, PLCs and CCTV/DVR systems.
• Maintains, develops modifications, and ensures reliability of the institution's electronic security and communication systems; provides technical support for drawings and specifications for electronic and telecommunication equipment.
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance as required by policy.
• Incumbent shares responsibility for maintaining security of the institution with all staff and performs correctional duties as required.
