Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic IT/Cybersecurity maintenance functions.
• Respond to trouble calls and perform corrective actions.
• Assist Instructors Pilots in setting up scenarios within operator stations and devices.
• Replace components, wire circuits, repair electronics, take test readings using DMMs, signal generators, oscilloscopes.
• Perform administrative tasks as required by supervisor.

Job description

Fidelity Technologies Corporation is seeking an Electronics Technician 1 for an on‑site (non‑remote) position at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ working on flight simulators. This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a SECRET clearance. It is recommended that the applicant provide a Cover Letter detailing why they are the right fit for this position.

The applicant must meet the following criteria:

1. Assist in basic IT/Cybersecurity maintenance functions.
2. Respond to trouble calls, equipment maintenance, and corrective action initiation.
3. Assist Instructor Pilots (IPs) in setting up their scenarios within the operator station and other devices.
4. Perform tasks such as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronics equipment, taking test readings, and using common instruments such as digital multi‑meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.
5. Perform administrative tasks and other tasking as required by supervising Technician.
6. Minimum experience shall include two years’ electronics maintenance or graduation from a two‑year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute or military equivalent.
7. Meet the qualifications and certifications at the Information Assurance Technical Level I requirements per DoD 8570.01M (possess an active/current CompTIA A+ certificate and Operating System certificate (i.e. Windows/Linux)).
8. Be able to obtain and hold a SECRET clearance and adhere to security safeguards and directives.
