Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Capable of adapting to changing assignments and requirements.
  • Develop, construct, integrate, and test Ground Entry Point assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems.
  • Develop and construct experimental and prototype devices, models, and systems using very general information.
  • Perform repairs and calibrations as necessary.
  • Assist Manufacturing engineers in creating Manufacturing Work Instructions, processes and operations that assure proper function of product and test equipment per design specifications, using work instructions, block diagrams, rough outlines of basic circuits, oral instructions, schematics, etc.; make necessary calculations to obtain or compare data as required.
  • Troubleshoot systems, devices, processes and/or test set‑ups to locate and repair defective areas.
  • Integrate hardware through debugging and modification; maintain and integrate peripherals and networks.
  • Determine methods and techniques for effectively monitoring various tests and measuring electrical performance on complex systems.
  • Select, set up, calibrate and operate complex and special equipment and facilities across a broad spectrum of technologies.
  • Verify and validate product and paperwork configuration, test processes and test equipment/setup configuration and calibration.
  • Measure, collect, and record electrical performance data; analyze and evaluate data, experimental models, and resultant data to verify reliability and validity of desired functions; prepare accurate and complete test reports of all recorded data.
  • Program and verify devices.
  • Perform initial procedural tests on new and/or changed equipment; make modifications/calibrations as required to achieve desired results.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED plus at least 6 years of relevant experience with fabrication and test of complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems.
  • Experience with electronics principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience.
  • Hardware integration of various sizes of components and payloads.
  • Experience with electrical and or RF test equipment.
  • Experience in Defense Contractor environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
Salary Range

$79,100.00 - $131,900.00 (general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills and market conditions when determining offers).

Benefits

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential and discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in VP or director positions may be eligible for long-term incentives.
