Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Mossville, IL seeks an Electronics Test Technician to support Motor Gen and GenSet labs, perform test setup, and build harnesses for electronics testing.

You will work with gen sets, PLC controls, and standard test equipment, applying your electrical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues while collaborating with a small team onsite.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical training.
• Minimum 2 years as Electronics Technician.
• Understanding of switches, relays, actuators, sensors, and other electrical/electronic components.
• Experience with hand tools (crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers).
• Experience with gensets, power generation, and electro/mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technician support for Motor Gen Lab and Genset Lab used for electronic controls testing and validation.
• Assist with test execution and build harnesses for test benches and electronics test boxes.
• Identify issues and fix problems with electrical components and equipment; set up test benches with power sources and ECMs.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to build harnesses and test boxes.

Electronics Test Technician – Mossville, IL – Onsite | Full-Time

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Engineering Aide to join our team in Mossville, IL. We offer full benefits, PTO, 401k, and more!

Position Overview

• Job responsibilities include providing technician support for a Motor Gen Lab (genset simulation) and Genset Lab (generators and load banks) used for electronic controls testing and validation.


• Other responsibilities include assistance with test execution, building harnesses for test benches, building electronics test boxes and equipment, identifying issues and fixing problems with electrical components and equipment, test bench setup with power sources, test boxes, multiple ECMs (electronic control modules) and other electronic components.


• Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems is critical and experience with gensets and PLC control is beneficial.


• Experience with common technician hand tools (e.g. crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers) is also required.

Basic Requirements

• Associates degree, Vocational school graduate, or Equivalent technical training


• or equivalent Experience based learning


• Minimum 2 years of work experience as an Electronics Technician


• Understanding of switches, relays, actuators, sensors, and other electrical and electronic components


• Experience with hand crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, and other hand tools


• Experienced with various electro/mechanical equipment and basic power tools

• Familiarity with the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and programmable devices and other standard electronic test equipment
