Delphinus Engineering LLC in Bremerton, WA is seeking an electrician with 1+ year of industrial experience to perform electrical repairs, inspections and modernization on Navy ships and shore facilities. Duties include testing, wiring, and repairs in controlled environments, with potential supervision of small teams.
The role requires ability to read blueprints, pass a security background check, and work at shipyards or installations as needed. Training and safety compliance are emphasized.
Performs electrical work on U.S. Navy shore facilities, waterborne vessels, surface ships and/or submarines. Tasks will be related to inspections, repairs, modernization and/or alterations.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Must possess intermediate computer skills to enter data into different data basis.
Must have completed a formal related course of study in trade through either a community college, technical or trade school, military training, formal company training program or an apprentice program and must have 1+ years of verifiable experience as an electrician in an industrial environment i.e., shipbuilding, ship repair or nuclear power plants.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and obtain and maintain a security badge for all military installations and civilian shipyards.

The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. On a frequent basis the employee is exposed to the risk of electrical shock.
