Job summary

BJ Energy Solutions, LLC in Bossier City, LA is seeking an Electronics Technician to repair, calibrate, and test recording and control instruments used in fracturing operations. The role includes maintaining equipment, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring adherence to EHS policies.

The technician will travel to field locations up to 100% of scheduled time and work on a 14/7 schedule, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and reliable operation of Titan fracturing technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year technical diploma and 3-5 years’ experience as an electronics technician or related field, or equivalent combination experience and education
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Oilfield service experience on pressure pumping equipment essential

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and repair of electronics, electrical, controls, instrumentation, and computer-based equipment
• Coach and mentor other techs on work performance and quality
• Enforce the company maintenance program
• Complete equipment repairs and calibrations
• Complete equipment maintenance inspections as per schedule
• Provide performance feedback to the Manager regarding team and equipment performance
• Attend safety meetings and field jobs as required

JOB PURPOSE: The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the repair, setup, calibration, and testing of the recording and controlling instruments / test equipment used in fracturing operations to control and measure variables such as pressure, flow rate, temperature, and density.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and repair of all electronics, electrical, controls, instrumentation,and computer-based equipment
• Coach and mentor other techs on work performance and quality
• Enforce the company maintenance program
• Complete equipment repairs and calibrations
• Complete equipment maintenance inspections as per schedule
• Provide performance feedback to the Manager regarding team and the performance of the equipment
• Prepare and fill out all work orders or inspection forms and submit to Electronic Lead
• Attend to team meetings or safety meetings
• Visually inspect equipment in the yard/shop/location and report any deficiency to the Electronics Lead
• Maintain proper levels of electronic parts inventory for the shop and the filed kit in the service truck
• FollowallEHS Rpolicies and standards
• Train new technicians on new equipment repairs and inspections
• Executing work on new product development projects
• Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and ensuring that work meets manufacturers specifications Support Operations in high profiles field jobs
• Provide feedback on potential design improvements to existing designs.
• Attend field jobsas required
• Carry Outeffective workhandovers
• Assist the IT withany requirement that they might need related to computers, radios, phones,or networks in the field.
• Assist Engineering on testing equipment and analyzing technical data of the equipment.
• Support the Radiation Safety Officer
• Support Operations in high profiles field jobs
• Travel to different locations

• PromotesBJOperating andSafety Standards at all times
• Attends and participates in weekly SafetyMeetings.
• Assists in executing jobs in the field asrequired.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

While performing the duties of this job the employee will spend a majority of time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions, although occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions is required. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is regularly moderate to loud.
