Qualifications

• General knowledge of electronics principles and basic materials/elements referenced in the field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications/drawings.
• Ability to fabricate/assemble electromechanical components from drawings/specs.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic, algebra, and trig as used in electronics.
• Capable of using a computer and documenting work.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems.
• Perform low-voltage cabling, device setup, and system testing.
• Troubleshoot issues and document work in existing buildings and new construction.
• Work on on-call shifts as part of 24/7 operations.
• Adhere to safety practices and wear PPE as required.
