Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist/Buyer in Orlando to support purchasing, supply chain, and production planning for electronic and electro-mechanical products.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, demand/material planning, or supply chain and will work closely with Engineering, Operations, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to ensure parts and materials are available to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, demand planning, material planning, or production planning.
• Experience with electronics, electrical components, or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Experience with BOMs, purchase orders, inventory, supplier lead times, and production schedules.
• Strong supplier management, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience in a high-tech, electronics, or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• NetSuite, or similar ERP/planning system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and track electronic, electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components.
• Manage purchase orders, supplier pricing, lead times, and deliveries.
• Support demand planning, material planning, and production scheduling.
• Monitor inventory and material availability to prevent shortages.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Review BOMs and engineering requirements to determine purchasing needs.
• Track supplier delays, material shortages, and production risks.
• Support prototype, pilot, and production builds.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and planning records.
