Siemens Industry Software Inc. is seeking an Electronics Software Engineering Intern for the Digital Component Specifications team as part of the Spring 2027 Strategic Student Program (SSP). The role combines Java development with XML data modeling to digitally represent microelectronics specifications.

The intern will work on on-site or hybrid arrangements, with mentorship from senior engineers and career development opportunities, culminating in potential full-time offers after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a university student (undergraduate or graduate).
• GPA 3.8 or higher required.
• Major in Electrical, Computer, Electronics, or Software Engineering with electronics coursework.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and document software features using Java and related technologies.
• Work with XML schemas and structured data used to digitally represent microelectronics component specifications.
• Translate electronics datasheet concepts, component properties, and microelectronics terminology into reliable software behavior.
