Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager, Electronic Components in Mountain View, CA to shape multi-year sourcing strategies and lead supplier negotiations for critical electronic/components categories. Partner with Engineering and Product teams to align commercial decisions with evolving system requirements and supplier capabilities.

You will drive cost discipline, own TCO initiatives, and manage supplier performance across a complex semiconductor and electronics ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in EE or custom silicon commodity management.
• Deep experience in should costing and the semiconductor ecosystem.
• Bachelor’s degree in EE or equivalent.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel up to 20%, including internationally.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year sourcing strategies for key electrical and electronic component commodities aligned with the technical roadmap.
• Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, supply agreements, and contracts.
• Manage supplier performance through regular business reviews and audits.
• Own Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and lead cost-reduction programs.
• Act as a central commercial partner to Engineering and Product teams.
• Identify and solve commercial, technical, and negotiation challenges.
• Thrive in ambiguity and adapt to evolving autonomous vehicle and semiconductor market needs.
