Leidos Defense Electrical Systems Department is seeking a talented Electronics Safety Systems Engineer to design, develop, and qualify high-reliability safety electronics systems for missile range operations, autonomous flight safety systems (AFSS), and firing safety applications. This role focuses on the system development including definition of requirements and requirement flow down to AFSS electronic components - including low-voltage firing sets, initiator safety circuits, interlocks, stimulus sensing, and related protection systems - ensuring compliance with stringent missile range safety standards such as RCC 319 and related requirements. You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside systems, software, hardware development, test engineers, and range operations teams to deliver dependable, fail-safe electronics systems for missile and flight safety applications.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
