Job Purpose:
- This role will analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical problems on equipment or components. Troubleshoots electronics devices at the component level and resolves integration and configuration problems involving circuit analysis, waveform calculations, fault isolation, PROM programming, and signal flow tracing.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of electronics and digital components (10%)
- Apply knowledge and skills in electronic fundamentals and logic (10%)
- Read schematics and blueprints (15%)
- Apply electrical laws to troubleshoot effectively (10%)
- Perform through-hole and surface soldering (20%)
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and analyzers (15%)
- Troubleshoot electronics devices at the component level (20%)
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Maintain attendance and punctuality standards
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or related field preferred
- High School Diploma required, General Studies field of study
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, Server+, IPC are a plus
- Proficient in 10-key typing
- Basic clerical and data entry skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Basic mathematical skills
