Job summary

CSAT Solutions is seeking a MLB Repair Technician 1 to join our electronics repair team in Houston, TX. You will test, diagnose, and repair basic system failures while performing visual inspections and data entry using Excel and internal databases.

Responsibilities include following procedures for engineering changes, learning new repair processes, and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 quality requirements in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in electronics repair, failure analysis, and diagnosis.
• Intermediate soldering skills (through-hole).
• Familiar with surface mount technology.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and block diagrams.
• Experience using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes & multimeters).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Able to use hand power tools.
• Knowledge of computer hardware.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Tests, troubleshoots and diagnoses basic system failures.
• Conducts visual mechanical inspection of units, components (LCD, Motherboards, etc.) and/or subcomponents.
• Performs computer data entry using Microsoft Excel and/or internal databases including production systems.
• Follows procedures and diagrams in performing engineering change orders.
• Learns and uses new processes and procedures for the MLB repair line.
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
