The Davis Companies Inc. is seeking a Contract Repair Technician in Westborough, MA. The role runs 9am-5pm and pays $26-30 per hour.

You will diagnose and repair equipment, follow SOPs, and maintain records. Must be comfortable with basic hand tools and independent work, with prior repair/technical experience preferred. Responsibilities include repairing equipment, collaborating with engineering on complex issues, and aiding with receiving/shipping as needed while keeping a clean, organized

Formación

• Previous hands-on mechanical, manufacturing, repair, or technical experience preferred.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools to remove and replace components.
• Able to follow written SOPs, work instructions, and repair procedures.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Able to learn new equipment and processes.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with a multimeter is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair equipment returned for service.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions to complete repairs.
• Remove and replace components such as lamps, detectors, and other parts.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to identify equipment issues.
• Complete equipment assessments and identify parts needed for repair.
• Handle multiple repairs while maintaining established schedules.
• Assist with receiving and shipping equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair and service records.
• Learn the basic operation of different equipment and systems.
• Work with engineering on more complex technical issues when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
