Job summary

KIMCHUK INC is seeking an Inspector to perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process, using customer documents and IPC standards. You will operate X-ray equipment, conduct first article inspections of electronic and electro/mechanical assemblies, and complete QC reports with ERP data entry in a team-based environment.

A minimum two years of inspection experience and ability to read engineering drawings are required. Day shift, full-time on-site role in Connecticut.

Qualifications

Two years’ experience inspecting electronic and electro/mechanical assemblies.
High School diploma or GED is required.
Ability to read engineering drawings and data sheets to assess conformance.
Soldering experience or inspection of soldering is required or preferred.
Experience with J-Std-001 and IPC-A-610 standards is a plus.
Must pass a vision acuity test.

Responsibilities

Operate X-ray equipment and evaluate images against IPC criteria and customer requirements.
Perform first article inspections of assembled products at various points.
Complete QC inspection reports and ERP data entry.
Work in a team environment with manufacturing and quality control.
Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
