Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Electronics Production Test Development Engineer to own day-to-day test support, resolve production issues, and ensure rapid line recovery.

You will plan transitions of new test platforms into manufacturing, create and validate test methods, and drive standardization of test equipment to reduce variation and costs.

Qualifications

  • BSEE or equivalent required; 3–5 years test engineering in electronics manufacturing.
  • Hands-on mastery of test equipment and manufacturing test technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • IPC certification and strong written/verbal communication.
  • AS9100 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day test support, resolving production issues swiftly and sustainably.
  • Plan and execute the transition of new test platforms into manufacturing (fixtures, SW, documentation, training, and validation).
  • Create, validate, and improve test methods from part-level to final system verification.
  • Drive standardization of test equipment to improve repeatability and reduce variation.
  • Estimate costs and labor, then pursue targeted cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain clear, auditable test procedures.
  • Invest in your technical growth to remain current on best practices and tools.
