Job summary

Milwaukee Electronics in Canby, Oregon seeks a proactive Buyer to support manufacturing operations. The role quotes and purchases electronic components, fabricated materials, and indirect supplies, balancing cost, quality, inventory, and delivery while maintaining ERP data accuracy.

You will work with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Quality to resolve shortages and supplier issues. This on-site position emphasizes urgency, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field required.
1+ year of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience buying electronic components or in electronics manufacturing services is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Quote and procure electronic components, fabricated parts, and indirect materials based on production demand and specifications.
Create, release, maintain, and manage purchase orders in the ERP/MRP system.
Monitor open POs and material requirements to support on-time delivery.
Identify shortages and expediting items to prevent delays.
Build strong supplier relationships and communicate supply risks to stakeholders.
Coordinate inbound transportation when required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material issues.
