Job summary

Standex International, a global industrial growth company, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain efficient processes that meet quality and cost goals. You will engage with design, R&D, and operations to drive continuous improvement across the production floor.

You will establish KPIs, lead root-cause analyses, and implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Occasional travel to vendor sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Electronic or Electromechanical assembly.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience in lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Collaborate with design/R&D to ensure manufacturability.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to drive performance.
• Update routers and SOPs to reflect best practices.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100/IATF16949 standards.
