Job summary

Nextek, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations in Alabama. You will monitor workflows, set and communicate targets, organize schedules, and coach staff to sustain efficient, safe production.

The role requires experience in production leadership, familiarity with manufacturing equipment and ERP/MRP systems, and a results-driven approach. A technical background and US citizenship are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience with manufacturing machinery and tools.
• MS Office proficiency; ERP/MRP knowledge (Epicor a plus).
• US Citizenship required.
• High School Diploma; technical/engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production operations and ensure smooth, efficient manufacturing by monitoring staff and workflows.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
• Oversee and coach employees.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
• Check production output according to specifications.
• Submit reports on performance and progress.
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Train new employees on machinery operation and procedures.
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
