Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer Intern for a 12-week summer program in Simsbury, CT. You will collaborate with industry experts on real-world challenges and contribute to continuous improvement activities within our Electronics Operations.

You will gain hands-on experience with CAD, Lean methods, and manufacturing tools, while solving manufacturing problems and presenting outcomes to leadership at summer's end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with CAD and hands-on manufacturing tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in solving manufacturing problems, investigating process failures, and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist in Lean methodologies including standard work and process improvements.
• Interface with production personnel, quality inspectors, and shop floor supervisors.
