Job summary

Rocket EMS in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support production and materials by maintaining accurate records, organizing stockroom materials, and ensuring parts are received, labeled, stored, counted, and issued.

You will work with Materials, Production, Quality, and Purchasing teams to ensure on-time material availability, perform cycle counts, and assist with packaging and transfers, while following all safety and handling requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of inventory control or stockroom experience.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and basic computer tools.
• Experience with inventory accuracy, cycle counts, labeling, and stockroom organization.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• ESD handling knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify part numbers, quantities, labeling, and condition.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and escalate as needed.
• Enter receipts, transfers, adjustments, and transactions into the ERP/MRP system.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and proper storage labeling.
• Pull and issue materials to production based on work orders and schedules.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation.
• Assist with material shortages, overages, and transaction errors.
• Handle and store electronic components and PCB assemblies per ESD and MSD rules.
• Keep stockrooms clean, organized, and clearly labeled.
