Job summary

USSI Global in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Hardware Parts Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic components used in field maintenance and system integration. You will perform functional, stress, and reliability tests, document results, and support continuous improvement of hardware performance.

Work with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers while updating parts and reporting findings. Must live within commuting distance to the Melbourne facility.

Qualifications

Job Title: Hardware Parts Tester

Location: Melbourne, FL (Suntree area)

Shift: Mon to Fri from 8a to 5p

Pay: $25.00/hr

• A minimum of one-year experience evaluating physical electronic devices, circuit boards, and/or components to ensure they meet quality, reliability, and performance standards.
• Must live a commutable distance from our Melbourne, FL facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute Tests: Run functional, stress, and reliability tests on physical hardware components.
• Troubleshoot Defects: Identify hardware faults, perform root cause analysis, and document failures.
• Update & Program: Ability to update and program parts as needed.
• Use Lab Equipment: Operate specialized tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters and environmental chambers.
• Document Results: Write clear test reports and maintain records of test plans and metrics.
