Job summary

The Bernard Group, Inc. in Chanhassen, MN is hiring a Fixture Assembler. The role involves fabricating and assembling products using precision tools and equipment, reading work orders, and meeting stringent quality standards.

You will support Leads with setups, operate electronic hardware software updates, and ensure processes stay within drawing specifications while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in fabrication is a plus.
• Understanding of a variety of substrates.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and related documentation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong electronics and computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fixture Assembly Leads with job setups.
• Update software/firmware of electronic hardware using a computer.
• Maintain specifications by observing operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, and adhering to QA procedures.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first run, parts and sample workpieces.
• Meet production goals in cycle time, quantity and quality.
• Perform duties in the Fixture Assembly area and other areas as assigned by management.
