Job summary

Slope is looking for an Electrical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. This paid, in-person internship requires candidates to design electronics, troubleshoot issues across disciplines, and develop firmware. Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and complete an in-person internship.

The ideal candidate has skills in troubleshooting electronic systems, firmware development, and familiarity with testing equipment. A competitive salary range of $30–$45 an hour is offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree and must return to school after the internship.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and current-probes.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux development and device drivers.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype.
• Troubleshoot issues that span electrical and software boundaries.
• Develop low-level firmware/software for micro-controllers.

Skills

Ability to complete in-person internship

Troubleshooting electrical and software issues

Familiarity with test equipment

Proficiency in C/C++

Excellent organization and communication

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
