Job summary

Peraton Labs in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD seeks an Electronics Engineer Deployer to serve as a forward, level two exploitation expert. You will support DOW conventional, SOF, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) warfighters and various government agencies by exploiting recovered electronic devices and performing detailed forensics in a high-security lab environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• US Citizenship required.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 7 years with AS/AA; 9 years with HS diploma.
• Physical ability and willingness for global 6-month rotations.
• Expertise in electronic schematic design and interpretation.
• Proficiency in identifying electronic components and characterizing circuits.
• Experience using benchtop lab equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Solid understanding of RF communications and standard RF measurements.

Responsibilities

• Be the EE Deployer go-to expert in a forward exploitation lab.
• Support DOW conventional, SOF, and EOD warfighters and government customers by exploiting recovered electronics.
• Coordinate with CONUS-based engineering staff; generate forensics reports; respond to analytical requirements.
• Maintain assigned equipment; provide mission support; conduct training; and field capabilities in electrical forensics tools and systems.
• Dive into training exercises and contribute to advanced exploitation projects on-site.
