Job summary

American Systems is seeking a mission-driven Electronics Engineer to reverse engineer advanced electronics for DoD missions. You will work on-site with a team that supports national priority programs and provides near real-time technical intelligence to tactical commanders and DoD leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a closely related technical field from an accredited college/university.
  • 5–15 years of professional work in a relevant field with circuit design and PCB assembly experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support reverse engineering and digital forensics for DoD targets.
  • Prepare reports and briefing materials for military and DoD leadership.
  • Perform laboratory analysis of electronic devices to understand operation and functionality.
  • Expose, analyze, and characterize RF receiver/transmitter modules and related circuitry.
