Job summary

SerenIT Recruitment seeks an Electronics Engineer to own electronics development at a fast-growing technology company in Amsterdam. You will turn innovative concepts into working prototypes and commercial products within a small, multidisciplinary team.

The role focuses on concept-to-prototype work, hardware-software integration, and collaboration with external partners to meet specs and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant electronics engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, control theory, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Experience using MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE to analyze circuits and develop control algorithms.
• Experience with PCB design and layout tools such as Altium Designer or KiCad.

Responsibilities

• From concept to prototype: collaborate with product designers, product managers, and scientists to develop demonstrations and proof-of-concept devices.
• Electronics development: design, develop, and test electronic circuits and systems, translating ideas into practical solutions.
• Product industrialization: transition prototypes into MVP and mass-production-ready designs, considering manufacturability, sourcing, and production requirements.
• Technical collaboration: guide external development and manufacturing partners to meet technical specs and quality standards.
• Testing and validation: build, troubleshoot, test, and validate electronic systems, identifying issues and solutions.
• Innovation and intellectual property: contribute to new technical developments and potentially patentable inventions.
• Teamwork and knowledge sharing: collaborate across disciplines and international teams.
