Overview

Seeking a talented Electronics Engineer (onsite San Diego, $120–140K + equity & perks) to design and scale electrical systems for Computer Vision/ AI field-deployed robotics. Hands-on role with PCBs, power systems, sensors, and Altium. Fast-paced, high-impact work with a collaborative, flexible team.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to help design, build, and scale systems for a fast-growing fleet of autonomous robotics platforms. You’ll work hands-on with PCBs, power systems, sensors, and communications hardware—turning design goals into robust, production-ready systems that can withstand the toughest real-world environments.

You’ll be deeply involved from concept through production, including documentation, testing, and collaborating with R&D, production, and leadership. The systems you design will go into field-deployed robots used for critical missions around the world, where reliability is everything.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, build, and debug electrical systems (PCBs, cabling, sensors).
  • Develop and document designs for production and firmware teams.
  • Create test plans and refine systems based on real-world feedback.
  • Support production with first articles and QA test assembly design.
  • Manage projects across power, communications, and payload hardware.
  • Balance rapid iteration with reliability, manufacturability, and deadlines.
About You
  • 3+ years of electrical/electronics design experience for full product development (design through production)
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer.
  • Experience taking systems from design → 50+ units in production.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and under tight timelines.
  • Strong communicator, with practical documentation and collaboration skills.
  • Must be interested in working onsite in San Diego, CA

Compensation
