The Opportunity

Responsible for a broad range of duties, with a strong focus on RF test environments, electronic component characterization, and hands‑on technical work related to intelligence products.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct RF measurements using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Test and characterize electrical components, including IEDs and Software Defined Radios (SDRs).
  • Integrate RF systems into Uncrewed Systems (Aerial, Ground, or Surface platforms).
  • Analyze and reverse‑engineer electronic circuits and components to develop device profiles.
  • Generate schematics and design PCBs using CAD tools.
  • Utilize IDE software and embedded platforms like Raspberry Pi and Arduino in development.
  • Perform soldering, reworking, and debugging of PCBs and electronic components (through‑hole, surface‑mount, harnesses, cables).
  • Develop and prototype custom circuits and electronics systems.
  • Create technical reports and comprehensive documentation of testing, findings, and device performance.
  • Apply a strong foundation in RF theory, practical electronics, and integrated circuit architectures to solve complex problems.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Eight (8) years of experience in a radio frequency (RF) test environment and characterizing electronic components for intelligence products and reporting.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university.
  • A master’s degree in engineering or related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
  • Performing benchtop RF measurements using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other equipment.
  • Uncrewed Systems (Aerial, Vehicle, Surface, etc.).
  • Integrated development environment software (IDE) and Raspberry Pi, Arduino devices.
  • Testing and characterizing electrical components of IEDs and/or Software Defined Radios (SDR).
  • Demonstrated ability to produce technical reports on findings and develop device profiles.
  • Experience in electronic schematic generation and printed circuit board (PCB) layout.
  • Solid background in practical electronics and/or RF theory.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integrated circuit architectures.
  • Experience in reverse engineering electronic circuit boards and components.
  • Experience with soldering and re‑working electronic circuit boards and components (e.g. through‑hole, surface mount, cable assemblies, wire harnesses).
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
  • Must pass a comprehensive medical assessment.
