Job summary

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies is seeking a Category Specialist for Electronics in Lakewood, CO. You will enable global category strategy, optimize spend, manage suppliers, reduce inventory, and drive cost savings while mitigating procurement risks across the TBCT supply base.

This role reports to the Category Manager and supports the development of global strategies for supply assurance and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to perform essential functions.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Sourcing/Procurement/Supply Chain or Manufacturing/Operations in a multi-national setting.
• Experience with electronics and electrical components preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma or similar operational excellence experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier performance for on-time delivery and cost management.
• Identify alternate sourcing and localization to maximize pricing leverage.
• Develop and manage RFQs, cost models and resourcing estimates for projects.
• Negotiate terms with key suppliers including payment terms and lead times.
• Provide spend data analysis and market trend insights to prioritize sourcing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier strategy supports product and customer needs.
