Job summary

QCS is seeking an Electronics Technician to calibrate and repair various electronic test equipment in a metrology lab and at customer facilities in the Milwaukee area. Some travel to customer sites is required; company vehicles, laptop, and tools are provided.

Qualified candidates have 2 years of electronics education or military PMEL training, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with analog/digital test equipment. Solid communication and record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical school degree or equivalent in electronics or military PMEL training/experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics and follow instructions.
• Experience with analog/digital test equipment and calibration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and repair customer electronic test & measurement equipment per procedures.
• Collect calibration data and create long form calibration certificates.
• Adjust instruments to bring them within tolerance.
• Maintain records and certifications; document using databases.
• Travel to customer sites as required; work in metrology lab environments.
