Electronics Calibration Technician - 2nd Shift

Position Overview

This on-site position at DFW Airport Business Park offers a shift start time between 11am-1pm and end time between 7pm-9pm, depending on your choice. The pay range is $20.96/hr - $37.36/hr. We seek individuals passionate about tech-heavy concepts like 5G, IoT, aerospace, and defense, eager to work in a team of experts providing high-end electronic test and measurement equipment worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic test equipment to component level.
  • Follow procedures and standards for inbound/outbound equipment and document actions in inventory systems.
  • Ensure calibration traceability to national standards.
  • Assist customers with technical issues and equipment setup.
  • Maintain a clean lab and equipment accessories.
  • Work independently on assigned projects, making decisions within guidelines.
  • Perform detailed testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs using schematics and manuals.
  • Identify parts and maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
  • Contribute to organizational goals and department reputation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years electrical metrology experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic test equipment operation, calibration, and repair.
  • Basic computer skills for database and test equipment control.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in electronics repair/calibration; military PMEL training preferred.
  • Experience with ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSLI Z540-1, and Z540.3 systems is a plus.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Warehouse/lab environment; lifting up to 45 pounds; long periods of standing or sitting.
