Job summary

Double D Group in Greenville, KY, is seeking an Electronics and Automation Specialist to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize production equipment. You will work hands-on with electrical systems, develop schematics, and support reliability and productivity across the facility.

The ideal candidate has certification in electrical/electronics and at least five years of experience in electronics and automation maintenance.

Qualifications

• Certification or vocational training in Electrician, Automectronics, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of electronics/automation maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and automation systems in production areas.
• Develop, maintain, and organize electrical schematics, prints, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Conduct hands-on maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Manage and execute Preventative Maintenance programs, ensuring all scheduled work orders are completed on time.
• Schedule and oversee preoperational testing and inspection of equipment prior to production start-up.
• Inspect and evaluate equipment operating conditions, prepare written reports, and establish repair schedules as necessary.
• Ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed to protect electrical and electronic components, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
• Utilize the CMMS to its full capability for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Participate in production and safety meetings as required.
• Take on additional responsibilities and special assignments as needed.
