Job summary

Switchcraft is seeking operators in Chicago, IL for second shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am) to assemble small electronic components. Pay is $17.60 per hour. Candidates must follow group leader instructions and work independently in a team. Basic reading and math skills are required.

Assembers will use table top presses and hand tools to assemble plugs, connectors, and switches, and perform frame assemblies as part of a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• This job requires basic reading and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembles plugs to patch cords, switches and controls to cams; assembles resistors and capacitors to circuit boards; assembles PL switches; assembles level lite III switches; multi switches, DW switches.
• Inserts contactor and compressions springs using fixture.
• Inserts terminals into bottom, attaches clips to two sides, snaps push button into top of switch housing for slide switches.
• Assembles and tests data switches.
• Assembles and puts terminal into uniswitches
• Does frame assemblies.
