Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems in New York is seeking an Assembler to correctly assemble electronics components and battery-related products according to defined specs and quality standards. You will work on the production floor, following documented work instructions and safety requirements in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 1+ year experience in assembling, with good hand/eye coordination for precise tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ year experience in assembling or related work.
• Good hand/eye coordination for precision assembly.
• Able to work on the production floor with electrical/mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic manual assembly with minimal tooling.
• Assemble batteries, chargers and accessories per supervisor instructions.
• Apply tape, heat shrink, glue cells, strip wires and secure with ties.
• Label shipping boxes and pack products as directed.
• Maintain safety equipment and daily production records.
• Report anomalies and damaged equipment promptly.
• Meet daily expected assembly quantities.
