Job summary

Det-Tronics, part of Spectrum Safety Solutions, is seeking Production Technicians for RC Systems in Santa Fe, TX. The role focuses on assembly, testing and quality inspection of gas detection devices and control systems.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be well organized with good communication skills, and be familiar with MS Office and basic electrical theory. Tools and some electronics experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Well organized with effective communication.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Software such as Word and Excel.
• Understanding of basic electrical theory (e.g. Ohm's Law).
• Familiarity with operating various hand and power tools.
• Associates or Technical degree in electronics preferred.
• Understanding of technical drawings preferred.
• One year experience with troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and fulfill purchase orders from customers
• Perform acceptance testing on R.C. Systems products
• Perform minor repairs on electrical components
• Assemble electrical components into various configurations depending on customer request
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
