Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Small Arms/Artillery Repairer to maintain the electronic systems that keep weapons firing for the Army National Guard. You’ll work with handguns, shotguns, snipers, and missiles, learning electronics, schematics, and how to operate test equipment.

Training lasts 10 weeks of Basic Training and 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with classroom and field work. You’ll earn a regular paycheck and qualify for tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Electronic and mechanical principles and concepts.
• Understanding schematics, drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Operating electronic, electrical, and mechanical test equipment.
