Leidos in Dahlgren, VA is seeking a Full-time Experienced Electronic Warfare Tactical and Technical Trainer to support Combat Systems training and readiness. The role focuses on training Sailors in employment of AEGIS and related weapon systems, acting as EWCO and Skill Package Coordinator.
Responsibilities include developing and delivering formal training, reviewing naval doctrine, and using shore-based systems to assess and improve watchstander performance in dynamic scenarios.
Searching for a Full-time Experienced Electronic Warfare Tactical and Technical Trainer to support Combat Systems training and readiness in Dahlgren, VA.
Develops; organizes; and conducts combat systems and weapon system employment, training and educational programs for personnel assigned to AEGIS Platforms. Serve as the Electronic Warfare Mission Package Coordinator and SLQ-32 Console Operator (EWCO) instructor to train Sailors in tactical and operational employment of the AEGIS combat system and associated weapons systems. Review and analyze Aegis Combat System Engineering Capabilities and Limitations and U.S. Navy Operational and Tactical doctrine. Integrate and conceptualize the execution of Doctrine optimizing the application of ship's Combat Systems capabilities and limitations in a dynamic operational tactical environment. Utilize shore‑based training systems requiring dynamic training and assessment of watchstanders during integrated scenarios. Conduct training sessions and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Additionally, must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the team and customers. Four years experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred. A formal degree or a combination of education, technical certifications, training or work/military experience supporting engineering or analysis experience is always a plus.
Pay Range $65,650.00 ‑ $118,675.00.
