Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. seeks an Electronic Warfare (EW) RF Test & Evaluation Engineer in Washington, DC to support Navy EW systems from component to system level testing.

You will run laboratory tests, operate spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other test equipment, and contribute to test planning and reporting. You will develop test software in Python and LabVIEW, write test procedures, support field testing, and coordinate with NRL, shipyards, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant work experience.
• Experience in RF measurements and testing RF components/systems using standard laboratory equipment.
• Background or skillset to assist in a test team setting.
• Experience in software development that includes hardware control/data collection (Python and/or LabVIEW preferred).

Responsibilities

• Laboratory testing, assembly and evaluation of RF/Radar components, circuits and subsystems.
• Operate test equipment and upgrade capabilities where needed.
• Produce test software (Python, LabVIEW, Matlab, C++).
• Write and follow laboratory test plans and produce test reports.
• Assist and/or lead test planning, coordination, execution, analysis, and reporting for ship- and land-based testing.
• Support meeting attendance, presentation development, and publication support for EW system programs.
• Prepare/test documentation (T&E planning, test plans, test procedures, reports, SOWs).
• Collaborate with NRL, field sites, shipyards, IPTs, technical teams and vendors.
• Track and monitor program and T&E risks and help develop strategies.
