Job summary

Cyient DLM Electronics Inc. in Torrington, CT is seeking an Electronic Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic components and systems before market release. You will perform functional and performance tests using specialized equipment and document results.

The role requires attention to detail, familiarity with test equipment, and the ability to read schematics. Collaboration with engineering and production teams is essential to identify issues and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with electronics background.
• Experience in electronic testing or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment and basic circuit theory.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Associate degree or certification in electronics technology (preferred).
• Experience with automated test systems and software (preferred).
• Knowledge of IPC/ISO quality standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and performance testing on electronic assemblies and components using specialized test equipment.
• Set up and calibrate test instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators).
• Document test results meticulously and report deviations or failures to engineering.
• Assist in developing and refining test procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve product issues during manufacturing.
