Job description

Now Hiring a Test Technician – X-ray Detector for a Great Company in Solon, OH!

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Perform final testing of X-ray detectors according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test protocols, focusing on electrical performance, image quality, and stability.
  2. Operate relevant test equipment and software systems proficiently, including high-voltage generators, image acquisition systems, X-ray bay, and calibration tools.
  3. Accurately record test data, analyze test results, determine product conformity to shipping standards, and generate formal test reports.
  4. Conduct initial troubleshooting of any anomalies discovered during testing and escalate issues to relevant departments (e.g., R&D, Process Engineering, Quality).
  5. Ensure that all testing procedures comply with ISO 13485 and other applicable medical device quality and safety standards.
  6. Support ongoing improvements in test procedures on the production line to enhance efficiency and product consistency.
  7. Participate in regular calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma; candidates with an associate degree in a STEM-related field are preferred

Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:

  1. Starting wage: $18/hour.
  2. Upon successful completion of a 1–2 month probation period, qualified candidates may be promoted to $20/hour, as the role requires a higher level of technical complexity than standard assembly positions.
  3. Quarterly performance-based bonuses are also available.
