V2X Inc. seeks an Electronics Technician, Maintenance III at Fort Greely, AK to support the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions on the DRTS program.

You will report to Site Managers and deliver comprehensive range support for successful gunnery events. The role requires advanced technical problem solving beyond manuals, with responsibilities spanning circuitry analysis, electromagnetic considerations, and handling engineering changes.

Qualifications

• Must possess the manual dexterity to handle, manipulate, and feel objects, tools, and controls using the hands and fingers.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, hear and understand English.
• Must be able to travel up to 50%.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a Government CAC.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full spectrum of range support to enable successful gunnery and range training events.
• Report directly to Site Managers and ensure required range support is delivered.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to diagnose and solve complex problems beyond manuals or standard procedures.
• Identify and address issues like circuitry location, electromagnetic considerations, malfunctions, and engineering changes.

Electronic Technician, Maintenance III - Fort Greely, AK

V2X has a requirement for an Electronics Technician, Maintenance III on the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions (W-TRS) contract to support the Digital Ranges Training Systems (DRTS) at Fort Greely, AK. The Electronics Technician, Maintenance III will report directly to the Site Managers and ensure the full spectrum of range support is provided to enable successful gunnery / range training events. The Technician applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes.

Required Skills

• Must possess the manual dexterity to handle, manipulate, and feel objects, tools, and controls using the hands and fingers.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, hear and understand English.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Work is subject to high noise levels and vibration.
• Work is performed in an environment with high dust, pollen, and wind.
• Requires physical presence around high voltage, machinery, and unprotected heights.
• Work may require protective clothing and equipment for feet, hands, head, eyes, and ears.
• Ability to lift and carry items not to exceed 50 lbs.
• Physical dexterity to push/pull, climb/balance, bend/stoop, twist/turn, kneel/crouch, crawl, reach overhead, grasp, use feet for foot controls.
• Ability to stand unaided for eight (8) hours or more.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Valid State Driver’s License and retain Post Driving Privileges.
• Must be able to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must be able to travel up to 50%.

Required Experience

• Master's degree plus two (2) years of professional experience OR
• Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of professional experience OR
• Associate's degree / No Degree with 10+ years of professional experience.
