Memorial Health System seeks an experienced electronics technician to maintain and repair hospital equipment across facilities. You will interpret technical manuals and schematics, diagnose faults, and perform calibrations to ensure safety and reliability.
The role requires 4+ years in electronic repair, familiarity with NFPA and Joint Commission codes, and the ability to work with diagnostic instruments. Strong attention to detail and color discrimination are essential.
USD $31.51/Hr.
USD $48.83/Hr.
Provides electronic maintenance to all areas of Memorial Health System as assigned. Insures that work is completed per established policies/procedures, work order specifications and appropriate codes. Education:
· Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electronics/Electrical Certification/License, or completion of an apprenticeship program or 10 years of experience required.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
· Must possess valid Illinois driver’s license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required).
Experience:
· Four years experience with electronic equipment repair required.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Demonstrated ability to read, understand and apply technical information from technical manuals and schematics pertaining to the operation, repair and maintenance of equipment/apparatus.
· Demonstrated ability to read, understand and apply complex building codes such as NFPA and Joint Commission.
· Must apply color discrimination necessary to differentiate wire colors.
· Must possess routine hand tools used by an electronic technician.
· Knowledge of basic mechanical applications.
· Have basic computer knowledge.
· Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for long periods of time
