Job summary

V2X Inc. in Fairdale, Kentucky, is seeking an Electronics Technician II to sustain and repair Ground Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) including CV TESS and TVS. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and readiness for simulated training systems used across multiple platforms.

You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document actions in InSITE, monitor hardware baselines, install upgrades, and support software/hardware patches while coordinating with Field Operations Leads.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing complex electronic systems.
• Familiarity with military training and simulation equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and repair Ground TES devices, focusing on CV TESS, TVS, V TESS and related vehicle platforms.
• Surge to repair other Ground-TES as directed by the Field Operations Lead or Lead Technicians.
• Perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance following manuals and PM checklists.
• Ensure maintenance tasks do not conflict with training and testing activities.
• Record maintenance activities in real-time in InSITE.
• Adhere to warranty terms and track parts by number and location.
• Set up and test TES to confirm proper operation and interoperability.

Job Summary
Ground Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) consists of simulation and training equipment including but not limited to the following:
Instrumentable Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement Systems (I-MILES) Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CV TESS), Opposing forces Surrogate Tracked Vehicle (OSTV), Opposing Forces Surrogate Vehicle (OSV) , Opposing forces Surrogate Wheeled Vehicle (OSWV), I-MILES Tactical Vehicle System (TVS), I-MILES Vehicle Tactical

Engagement Simulation System (V TESS) Basic and Delta Kits, I-MILES Individual Weapons Systems (IWS & IWS/2) + Mirror Alignment Jig Kit (MAJiK & MAJiK-V2), I-MILES Shoulder Launched Munitions (SLM), I-MILES Universal Controller Device (UCD), MK-19, TOW Improved Target Acquisition System – Tactical Engagement Simulation System (ITAS-TESS), MILES 2000 Laser Target Interface Device (LTID), MILES-Basic Small Arms Alignment Fixture (SAAF) and STINGER.

Responsibilities
Job Description:

• Sustain and repair Ground Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) with focus on CV TESS, TVS, V TESS and other vehicle platforms
• Surge to repair other Ground-TES devices as directed by the Field Operations Lead or Lead Technicians
• Under minimal supervision performs scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS and GFP, following technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices when no checklist is available
• Ensures maintenance tasks do not conflict with training, exercises, and testing
• Records all maintenance activities in real-time in InSITE
• Adheres to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location
• Sets up and tests TADSS to confirm they work as expected, including interoperability and operation verification
• Monitors hardware baselines, reverting to previous versions if updates fail
• Analyzes maintenance trends, tracks component consumption, manages obsolescence, implements risk management strategies, and conducts failure analysis to minimize risks and improve system reliability
• Installs modifications or upgrade kits as per manufacturer\'s instructions
• May be responsible for installing and maintaining software and hardware installs and managing patches and security compliance for installed applications and operating systems
