Job summary

KBR Careers seeks an Electronic Technician I (Contingency) to perform entry‑ to intermediate‑level electronic maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing on TACOM‑managed systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, repairing components, and ensuring readiness per Army standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronic theory, practices, and fault isolation.
• Ability to apply diagnostic techniques to complex systems.
• Clear and precise written/oral communication.
• Capacity to plan and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government clearance (as required).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple ATE systems and monitor performance.
• Diagnose malfunctions using test data and source code interpretation.
• Identify stimuli and signal paths for accurate testing.
• Recommend design or process improvements based on failures.
• Provide technical assistance to MSCs, field sites, or contractors.
